Training & Equipment

Fleet Social Bowling Club realises that when you start looking at bowls equipment with a view to purchase your own it can be very daunting as there are many brands out there.

When you first come along to the club for your initial chat and roll up, you will be allocated a ‘bowls buddy’. They will explain to you all about the basics of bowls. They will also outline what equipment you will need to get started and show you the spare bowls that the Club has available for use by beginners, if they do not have their own set. These spare bowls can also be used to practice with before committing to purchasing a set of your own.

It is essential to get good advice in choosing the right bowls for you, and of course advice and guidance in choosing the right clothing to keep you dry and warm in the varied weather conditions, as well as help with other areas of bowls merchandise including bags, gloves etc.

The club offers structured training for all aspects of bowling.
